Mirror Louis XV

A large Louis XV mirror with a richly carved frame. The mirror resides in a thin and elegant frame beautifully decorated with leaf motifs.
Mirrors were hung above consoles or fireplaces throughout the 18th century and were therefore a permanent part of furnishings.
